 Which operating systems are supported? Inxmail Professional runs on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and all other platforms which support Java. Which database systems are supported? Inxmail Server needs MySQL, Oracle, SAP-DB (MaxDB), MS-SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
For synchronization of data from an existing customer database, any JDBC or ODBC capable database can be used. Is additional software required for the normal system operation? To operate Inxmail, an external database system and one or more mail servers are necessary. We offer Inxmail as in-house software and as an ASP service. Which prices does the product have? Inxmail Professional starts from 4,000 EUR. The ASP services starts from 50 EUR per month. Which target group(s) do you address with your product or services? With Inxmail Professional we address small, medium sized and large companies. Especially for the larger companies we offer Inxmail Enterprise Edition. How do you guarantee a safe and stable dispatch of the e-mails? Email dispatch can be interrupted and resumed anytime. Even after switching-off the server the dispatcher can resume sending reliably. How can the registration and cancellation by subscribers be carried out? Subscriber self-service can be performed via email, http requests using web forms, and programmatic via JSP.
Inxmail supports single, confirmed, and double opt-in and opt-out. Web forms can be generated directly in Inxmail Professional. In which formats can e-mails be sent? Inxmail supports plain text, HTML, and multipart.
HTML mails can be sent as online/offline html. All mail types support attachments. In addition, Inxmail offers personalization of PDF file attachments. Which possibilities of personalisation of the e-mails does the solution offer? Inxmail supports personalization of all parts of the mail: the subject line, mail content, sender address and additional mail headers. Even attachments can be personlized to the recipient's profile.
Whole content parts can be exchanged depending on the recipient using if-else statements.
In addition, Inxmail offers personalization of PDF file attachments. In which form is bounce management (e-mail return) supported? Inxmail automatically detects bounces. It distinguishes hard bounces, soft bounces, medium bounces (multiple soft bounces to an address), autresponders and flames.
The address database is adjusted accordingly. Can dynamic contents be used in the e-mails? Dynamic content can be integrated from CMS systems and from any other system. Can multi-stage, rule-controlled campaigns be implemented with the solution? On user-defined events like 'Recipient clicks a link' can trigger actions like 'Change profile data', 'Subscribe to this list' or 'Send a Mail'. Thus, recipient profiles can dynamically be changed - and this changed data can easily be used for follow-up campaigns. Which data source supports the solution as address databases? All supported databases: MySQL, Oracle, MS-SQL Server, MS-Access, PostresQL. Import from databases with ODBC/JDBC, from text files (CSV), and from the system clipboard via copy and paste. Which data source/CMS supports the solution as content databases? External content from CMS systems can easily be integrated via HTTP requests or file access. Supported formats are HTML, XML, plain text, and binary data. Can a time-controlled dispatch of e-mails be facilitated? Yes, all emails can be scheduled in advance. At which price models (ASP, user, subscribers etc.) is the system available? Inxmail is available as ASP service and licensable technology.
ASP service cots a onetime setup fee of 500 EUR, plus a monthly fee, starting by 50 EUR, depending on the monthly number of recipients/mails. Which technology/architecture is used? Inxmail Professional is developed with Java technologies.
