MrRebates, (www.mrrebates.com), an online shopping portal, today announced it is offering one percent cash-back for winning auction bids and "Buy It Now" purchases at eBay.

MrRebates, started in 2002, offers online rebates for purchases made through their website at over 750 web stores, including Dell, JCPenney and Staples. eBay was always listed on Mr. Rebates, but until today they were unable to offer cash-back for eBay shopping.

"eBay recently changed their online technology," said MrRebates’ founder Craig Cassata. "Because of the changes, we are able to introduce a one percent rebate on all our members’ winning eBay auctions." This unique offer makes MrRebates stand out in the crowd of shopping portals. "eBay is a popular destination for many shoppers. Our members are bargain savvy and we’re happy to give them rebates on their retail purchases and now for their online auctions, as well."

Now that eBay (www.mrrebates.com/merchants/924.asp) has joined the list of cash-back merchants, MrRebates offers their members a wide selection of online stores and a range of rebate amounts to match. Starting at one percent for stores such as Best Buy, and up to 30 percent at some magazine subscription retailers, MrRebates does its best to offer online shoppers familiar name brands, as well as niche stores so that every shopper can find what they’re looking for, and find a bargain, as well.

26.04.2006, Craig Cassata
