hybris E-Business experts prepare „myORTHOLIFE.de“ for business on the web
Based on the hybris E-Commerce Suite, the Munich based hybris group has developed an E-Business solution called myORTHOLIFE.de, which is a portal for orthomolecular dietary supplements.
The shop-website has a complete system which handles all data starting with the order entry, the automated order processing, all the way to the logistical implementation and communication with ERP-system and production planning. The highly complex technical and logistical processes, due to the personalized nature of products in myORTHOLIFE.de, are handled with a single push of a button. Responsible for the integration of the hybris solution into the existing ERP-system Rick-ERP was the hybris partner GETIT. Rick-ERP is an industry-specific development for the process industry of the hybris partner KEC. Owner of myORTHOLIFE.de is the Orthomol group, a leading company in the field of orthomolecular nutrients in Germany. Vitality-checks, health tips and personalized vitality supplement combination, which can be ordered online, are at the core of the internet-presence.
Technical basis of the solution myORTHOLIFE.de is the hybris E-Business Platform as well as the thereupon based hybris E-Commerce Suite. The hybris E-Commerce Suite is specifically tailored to medium-sized and larger companies that seek to build a distribution channel on the internet using E-Commerce standard software or extend their existing shop with an industry solution. This suite-concept combines the advantages of standard software like quick deployability and impressive functionality, with those of a framework - high flexibility and extendibility. This enables an E-Business solution implementation up to 80% faster due to the component-structure of the platform, the open J2EE-technology as well as the concept of Rapid Prototyping. Through Rapid Prototyping, business objects can be defined directly and immediately and subsequently put onto the user-interface.
